A $5B class action lawsuit that accused Apple of selling customer data has been rejected for the second and final time… Patently Apple reports that the lawsuit, filed in May, alleged that Apple sold customer-identifying data relating to iTunes purchases. The claim was initially rejected last month, though the judge did at that time give the plaintiffs permission to file an amended claim. Legal site MLex reports that they failed to do so, meaning that the case has now been permanently dismissed....
